KALBELIA DANCE STAGE with Senu Sapera (adults)

Kalbeliya dancer from the nomadic community of snake charmers of Rajasthan, she has performed on stage since the age of 7. Trained from childhood to different traditional dances: Kalbeliya, Ghoomar, Bhavai, Terah Taali and Chari; It represents Rajasthan's cultural wealth throughout the world. Since 2006, she has presented her art in more than 25 countries, including Europe, Asia and the United States.

GHOOMAR DANCE STAGE with Swapnil Dagliya

Swapnil Dagliya is a dancer, teacher and interpreter specializing in Indian folk dance, based in Belgium. Born in Pune, India, near Mumbai, he combines his Indian roots with ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary dance.

Graduated in Indian folk dance and certified instructor « Learn Bhangra »He has extensive expertise in Garba, Ghoomar, Kalbeliya, Terah Taali and many other dance traditions from different parts of India.

He trained at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and the Opus Ballet in Florence. From 2008 to 2018, he directed his own school in India, SPACE, and taught dance and theory at Pune University and FLAME University.

In Belgium, he co-founded the Shoonya Dance Centre, directed ABC – A Bollywood Company and assumed artistic leadership of the annual Gent India Dans Festival.

Club Carrom de Cannes

L’association L’Inde entre nous œuvre à la découverte et au partage de la culture indienne à travers des rencontres, des animations et des activités conviviales.

It will offer an introduction to carrom, a traditional Indian game that is played on a wooden tray. Using a pallet, participants must enter their pawns into the four holes at the corners of the tray. A game of skill, precision and strategy, accessible to all!
