Kalligraphy, dialogues between India and France
9 Indian languages + the French of 9 calligraphers : Achyut Palav, Nikheel Aphale, Sudeep Gandhi, Sanjeev Kumar, Rupak Neogy, Tarun Deep Girdhir, Qamar Dagar, Suresh Waghmore, Navakanth Karide
This unique exhibition of 26 calligraphic paintings explores the relationship between French and Indian cultures through the art of writing. The exhibition consists of a series of paintings that visually interpret the shared influences and cultural and historical ties between the two countries. These calligraphic creations also bear witness to a true intercultural dialogue, since they highlight the gaze of Indian artists on French culture.
These nine renowned Indian calligraphers were inspired by art and architecture.
Exhibition carried out in partnership with The Kalasetu Association and The Alliance Française de Bhopal.
